Udupi, Sep 18: Small disagreements which should go for reconciliation, sometimes end in death. Vijayalaxmi Shenoy (42), who was said to have a small disagreement with her husband during an argument resorted to suicide ultimately.
The deceased was the wife of Santosh Shenoy a resident of Alevoor. It is learnt that the argument took place on Tuesday September 16 night and the next morning the family discovered that the woman was missing. It was suspected that she might have left home at night itself.
On Wednesday September 17 when a dead body was found at Kemthur Dam, the family identified it as that of Vijayalaxmi. Her son Suprit Kumar has lodged a complaint at Udupi town police station.
