Four killed in Afghanistan bomb blast


Kabul, Sep 19 (IANS): Four people were killed and eight others injured when a bomb went off in Afghanistan's Baghlan province Friday, a local official said.

"A bomb planted by militants in a bazaar of Burka district exploded at around 2 p.m. today leaving four persons, all civilians, dead and injuring eight others, including two security personnel," Mullah Taj Mohammad told reporters.

Women and children were also among the victims, he added, according to Xinhua.
