New Delhi, Sep 19 (IANS): It was a sunny Friday in the national capital as the maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 36.3 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is likely Saturday.
"The city will experience similar weather tomorrow (Saturday)a the sky will remain partly cloudy and the day will be hot," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Friday's minimum temperature was 25.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average and the maximum humidity was recorded at 86 percent.
Thursday was sultry with the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded 35.7 degrees Celsius and 25.2 degrees Celsius respectively, both a notch above the season's average.
