Kasargod: Youth arrested for trying to stab shop owner

Kasargod, Sep 20: Kumble police have arrested a person for allegedly entering a shop and trying to stab its owner.

The arrested has been identified as Naushad (20), resident of Permude Morathanadka. He has been arrested from Dharmathadka. A complaint was received by the police against him entering the shop belonging to Aboobacker Siddiq in Paivalike on June 15 and trying to kill him. Five suspects were involved in the alleged crime.

Police have said that the arrested was also involved in the incident of stabbing Satish, resident of Kanyana and injuring him. Police have arrested his accomplice, Abdul Khader about a week ago. The other two suspects are said to be absconding.
