Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (RJP)

Bangalore, Oct 7: A mother ended her life by shooting self with a revolver over the love marriage of her younger son.

The incident took place at Murugeshpalya near HAL in Bangalore. Prabha (51) is the deceased. It is said that the deceased’s husband Venkatesh, a builder, had met with an accident recently and sustained injuries for which he was under medical treatment. The couple had two sons, the elder being a doctor still unmarried. The second son, an engineer fell in love with a girl from Coorg.

The mother objected saying the elder is unmarried, the father is not well and the girl came from a different caste. The younger son got married anyway amid objections and was to bring her home which put the deceased into severe distress. She took the licensed revolver belonging to her husband and killed herself. She succumbed to injuries at the hospital. The deceased woman has left a suicide note.

You fall in Love with a girl from Coorg...then
    1. Gone case. The 'clutches ' are so beautiful, you won't mind being imprisoned.
2.Morning, evening ,night,'fresh coffee' fragnance all round.Who would want to miss it?
3.You inlove with a Coorgi, then you automatically be a poet! And what's more -you sing in Coorgi language only!!
    4. To top it all , the scenery in the background...mindblowing and ravishing! What to do?
    5. I can also describe every part of a Coorgi..but some puritans here may 'pretend' not to like it. So I refrain.
    Here in this case...Poor Mother!
    Poorer Mother....What to do??
How I know about Coorgi beauty???
Everything I must confess here aa??

Being a elder Person of the Family she should have the better understanding than the younger.what if elder brother doesnt marry?many times yongerone marry first than the elder.I find it is O.K.It is their decision to lead life.In present world one should not be narrow minded.other caste? Is she not a Girl with flesh and blood like the other.Afterall son has to lead life with her not she.and now the mother brought the sorrow and unluck self ins house .what about the husband of the deceased?who will lookafter him?she didnt think of it.she could have thought ,son s happiness is also my happyness.when he isnot happy ,what is the use?How many times previously parents Chose Partner, and not always their choice was?Had to go on and quarrel was daily Programm.Heartfelt sympathy to the Family.

We all believe in one god where does the question arise caste, creed and colour.who said the elder one has 2 marry first this is man made for every occasion the right time has to come.If the 2 people wants to unite together no one can stop they are grown up and slowly they will learn their responsibility treat the dil like u r own daughter.I don't feel pity for the woman she knows her husband is sick and he need her more than anybody.

    Rest In Peace.
But certainly not the way to react to the marriage of 2 adults who wanted to be legally together.
She might have proved she is a better daughter than a mere daughter-in-law whom they might have arranged if given a chance.
