New Delhi, Oct 16: Pakistani fast bowlers Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif have been recalled to Pakistan after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.
The Rawalpindi Express and the upcoming Pakistani pacer failed an internal Pakistan Cricket Board drugs test.
The two will now miss the rest of the Champions Trophy being held in India.
The Pakistan team is slated to play their opening match of the tournament against Sri Lanka on Tuesday in Jaipur.
