Kasargod: Agri minister to handover house keys to Endo victims

Kasargod, Oct 10: Agriculture minister K P Mohana will hand over keys of 11 houses to the Endosulfan victims on Oct 11 at 12 noon.

The houses are sanctioned and built by the help of Canara Bank.

MLA K Kunhiraman will preside over the programme that will be held in Pulluru-Pariya panchayat. Zilla panchayat president P P Shamaladevi, deputy commissioner P S Mohammed Sageer, Canara Bank Bangalore executive director V S Krishna Kumar, Bank's Koyikode circle assistant general manager K Hariharan, AGM K Ramachandran and Kasargod chief manager K Ganesh Pai will be present for the ceremony.

 

Kasargod: Protest rally against anti-youth policies was set in motion

Kasargod, Oct 10: The protest rally led by LDYF proposed from Oct 14 in front of Secretariat in Tiruvanantapuram to protest against anti-youth policies of the government was set in motion at Manjeshwar Hosangadi, on Friday morning, October 10.

Left wing convener P Raghavan inaugurated the rally. DYFI Block secretary Navin Kumar presided over the programme.
