A J Institute of Dental Sciences conduct tobacco awareness programme

Mangalore, Oct 15: As a part of TII campaigns for Tobacco Free Kids, Tobacco Intervention Initiative Centre of A J Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore conducted a tobacco awareness programme for the high school students of Yenepoya School, Mangalore.

A short video on the ill effects of tobacco titled “Womb to Tomb” was projected. A role play titled “True Lies” was performed by the interns of A J Institute of Dental Sciences.

The students were briefed on the ill effects of tobacco and their role in tobacco control.

Dr Rajani George, Dr Pooja J Shetty, Dr Bhakti Sadhu and Dr Prerna Shetty of Department of Public Health Dentistry, A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore were present on the occasion.
