Mangalore, Nov 3: A Hindustani music festival Bhairav –Kalyan Utsav, will be organized in Town Hall here on Nov 12.
Sangeet Bharati Foundation which will organise it has planned to bring in both vocal and classical concerts.
Addressing press persons here on Thursday, Nov 2, vice president of the foundation Narendra L Nayak said that the progamme is being organized for the first time in the history of Mangalore
The programme will be held from 9 am to 9 pm, with a break between 1 pm and 2.30 pm, he added.
Sarwik Veena concert will be held by Salil Bhat (Jaipur), sitar recital by Master Ankush N Nayak (Mangalore), Santoor recital by Pundit Satish Vyas (Mumbai), vocal concerts by Ashok Huggannavar (Honnavar), Jayateert Mevundi (Hubli) and Kaivalya Kumar Gaurav (Dharwad).
