Nov 3: His paycheque is getting fatter each passing day, and now Rajinikanth has shed 20 years in one go, thanks to a nifty makeover by Manish Malhotra for the film ‘Sivaji’.This is the first time Malhotra has designed for Rajinikanth.

‘Sivaji’, a 50-crore plus extravaganza directed by Shankar, is rumoured to be about a man on the lookout for his seven different look-alikes across the globe. Some even suggest that the theme is the commercialisation of higher education. Rumours are also rife that Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a lawyer in the film.

With ‘Sivaji’, Rajinikanth has broken his own record. Earlier, he was said to be charging anything between Rs 15 to 18 crore per film. For ‘Sivaji’, he may have taken home anything between Rs 25 to 30 crore. Such is the hype around the movie that after the announcement itself, the distribution rights for ‘Sivaji’ were sealed. It’s 80 percent complete now. The megastar’s last outing at the matinee was the blockbuster ‘Chandramukhi’.
