'Never Hide Sounds 2014' - an opportunity for upcoming musicians


New Delhi, Nov 7 (IANS): Seven cities, seven genres and seven mentors -- the fourth edition of Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds has invited aspiring music artists to be mentored by celebrated musicians like Harshdeep Kaur, Raghu Dixit and Rahul Ram.

Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds 2014 has reached out to music aficionados from New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hydrabad, Pune and Chennai for the expedition.

The platform aims to promote new talent, and has involved known names like Rudy Wallang and Tipriti, Shaa'ir Func, Uday Benegal and Vinay Venkatesh, apart from Harshdeep, Raghu and Rahul as mentors.

The campaign will offer aspiring music bands to showcase their talent in the genres of Sufi, Rock, Folk, Pop, Metal, Blues and Fusion music. Seven selected bands will get the opportunity to be mentored by music maestros of their respective genres.

The selected bands will have their Never Hide Sounds Studio session with their respective mentors Nov 10-13.
