Mangalore, Nov 5: Ranga Bharati Mangalore, after organizing 100 shows of its mythological play Babruvahana organized Sangeetha Nritya Sanchara, a mobile show of dance and music.
Over 11 shows were held in various parts of the city on Sunday in association with Nascent Educational and Developmental Society and the MSW Department of Karavali College.
The day-long programme was flagged off at Kadri Temple on Sunday by regional chairman of Nascent society Shivarama Rai.
District Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, convenor of the progamme Niranjan Salian, Jayalaksmi Alva, Sudakar Rao Pejavar, Vasant Kumar Shetty, Geta Saralaya of Nritya Bharati Kadri, and Ranga Bharati director K V Raman were present on the occasion.
A total of 15 singers, 20 dancers and 5 musicians participated in the performances which were held in selected orphanages, old age homes, jail, district beggars home and boys and girls hostels in and around the city.
