Pleasant Wednesday in Delhi, chilly Thursday morning likely


New Delhi, Nov 12 (IANS): The national capital experienced a pleasant and sunny Wednesday as the maximum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 27.5 degrees Celsius. A misty and chilly Thursday morning is likely, the Met Office said.

"The morning will be misty and chilly tomorrow (Thursday) but the sky will remain clear through the day," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 28 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Wednesday morning was misty and nippy as the minimum temperature settled at 10.9 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.

The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 84 percent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 28.5 degrees Celsius - the season's average - while the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius, three degrees below the normal.
