AAP's first list out for Delhi polls


New Delhi, Nov 13 (IANS): The Aam Aadmi Party Thursday released its first list of 22 candidates, including four who were ministers, for the upcoming Delhi assembly polls.

Delhi's former law minister Somnath Bharti, health minister Satyendra Jain, transport minster Saurabh Bhardawaj and labour minister Girish Soni have made it to the list.

While 12 candidates who won will be fielded from their respective constituencies, the remaining 10 who came "close second" have been retained, said a party leader.

The names of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, his confidante Manish Sisodia and former social welfare minster Rakhi Birla did not figure in the first list.
