Modi meets Chinese premier


Nai Pyi Taw, Nov 13 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang here Thursday to discuss issues of bilateral interest.

“PM @narendramodi talking about the visit of (Chinese) President Xi Jinping (to India). Saying it will be remembered as a memorable visit,” the Prime Minister's Office tweeted.

Li concurred, saying Xi's visit was “a high success”.

Both the leaders have come to this capital of Myanmar to attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and East Asia Summit. Li is also on a bilateral visit to Myanmar.

Modi will late Thursday night leave for Australia to attend the G20 summit.
