Udupi, Nov 8: The survey work for the proposed installation of the 1,015 MW coal-based Nagarjuna thermal power plant is slated to begin soon, said deputy commissioner V Ponnuraj.

Speaking to presspersons here on Tuesday November 7, he said that the chief secretary and other important officials from Bangalore have passed instructions to make necessary arrangements to begin the survey work.

He further said that the permission for the plant has been already received.
