Bantwal, Nov 8: Deputy chief minister B S Yediyurappa launched various developmental works that would be undertaken in the taluk in the coming months on Wednesday November 8.
Speaking on the occasion he indirectly supported D V Sadanand Gowda to continue as the chief of state BJP. "If someone else is willing file a nomination for the post, he/she is welcome," he said. This statement holds quite a bit of importance as there is news that Anantkumar who has often identified himself against Yediyurappa is planning to contest of state BJP president's post.
He visited Rakteshwari Temple at B C Road and also laid foundation for the ambitious commercial complex project that would be built under IDSMT project. He also inaugurated several other projects which have been completed and launched a few more on the same occasion.
District in-charge minister B Nagaraj Shetty, Vittal MLA Padmanabh Kottari, MLC Shobha Karandlaje, Capt Ganesh Karnik, deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao were also present on the occasion.
