I was deeply saddened to receive the news that Neil is no longer with us in this life. It is about 40 years since I last saw or spoke to Neil and I recall the good old days of fun, games and laughter we shared in, Bandra, Bombay. It is heartening to know that Neil had an impact on his family and friends and was loved by many. Even at a young age he was proud of his culture and heritage. I was looking forward to seeing Neil next summer but unfortunately this will not be so. Death is not the end but the beginning of a new life. I will wait for our path to cross again in the next life. May God give you the peace of mind and strength to overcome the emptiness in your life and seek comfort in reminiscing the good times you shared with a Husband and Father. May his soul rest in peace!

    Dear Sybil & Glen,
You must be very proud of your husband & Dad.
Met Neil only once during my niece's wedding...he was the compere. I had to say a few words which was informed the last minute and Neil just guided with a few words and said I could do it...after my short speech he came to me and said I did a better job than his few words...a humble, charming and encouraging personality.
May perpetual light shine upon him and his soul rest in peace. May God give you both strength to bear this irreparable loss.

Neil was a highly respected brand name in our niche field of quality compering. But as a person, he was known to be a very ethical human being. His soft and gentle style of hosting was a trademark by itself. That was Neil! You have been an inspiration to my hosting for the last 15 years, though we have 2 different styles. But what he has left behind is his family, his fans and his unforgettable delivery that will last a lifetime! My respects & Homage to the stalwart of Mangalore!

    Dear Sybil & Glenn
Was shocked to hear about the sad demise of dearest Neil. Our heartfelt sympathies to you both !! We pray that you are blessed with abundant strength, to bear this tragic loss.
We recall all the lovely times that we had with Neil and all of you. Neil was the MC for my wedding and also a close family friend. We have enjoyed lovely times, during the days when all of you were together here in Oman. You will also recall our drive to Salalah during the Eid holidays. Glenn was a small child then. Well, over 20 years have flown by ever since. Neil was a lover of music. He would play the mouth organ and accordion, with so much of passion !!
Recently, Neil was also the MC for my niece's wedding in M'lore. He did a commendable job, as usual. We are sure to miss him and he is a huge loss, to the community of M'lore.
We pray that his soul may rest in peace. With you in grief.
    Carl, Jenny and Peter

Thoroughly traumatized of the depressed abrupt expiration of Most beloved Sir Neil. Just chanced him in the course of my last visit to Mangaluru in August 2014. Just cannot accept as true this news though it is true.

Our truthful condolences to the bereaved beloved Sybil bai, Glen and all near and dear D'Souza family members. We assure our Heavenly prayers. Let us not forget that we are from one Eternal God and we are to God a day.

Through death God our only beloved Savior takes us to eternal life. When we are in this world, God wants us to love each other and all the things which He created. We should work sincerely and lead a good life through which we can prepare ourselves for our own death and thus we follow in the path of Jesus Christ who died for our sins.
