Kasargod: Death of 15-year-old student turns out to be murder, two boys arrested

Daijiworld Media Network – Kasargod (RJP)

Kasargod, Nov 19: The Hosadurg police have arrested two students in connection to the mysterious death of Abhilash (15), a student from Hosadurg higher secondary school whose body found in a pond a few days ago.

As per sources, the arrested students, both classmates of Abhilash, have admitted to the crime of killing Abhilash by pushing him into the pond. The students are aged 15 and 17.

It is said that Abhilash was in love with a girl in his class, and the two accused boys were also in love with the same girl.

On Friday November 14, the trio went home together in an auto together after school hours and got down at Kushalanagar in Hosadurg. Then they walked together towards their houses. The topic of 'love' appeared during the conversation and the boy aged 17 allegedly hit Abhilash hard which made him bleed on the face.

When Abhilash went to wash his bleeding face in the pond, the same boy allegedly pushed Abhilash into the pond. Abhilash managed to come back from the pond in some time. But again the duo reportedly pushed him into the pond and walked away only after making sure that Abhilash was dead. The duo threw the deceased boy's school bag away from the pond, it is learnt.

The parentst of Abhilash searched for their son in vain and then lodged a police complaint. The next day the bag was found and the body of the deceased was later traced in the nearby pond.

The arrested students upon initial investigations did not reveal anything and acted as if they were not aware of anything. A protest was held by family members and villagers later demanding the arrest of the culprits. But later interrogations by police produced the required results and the students admitted their role in the death of Abhilash, sources said.

Drown the two in the same pond let them surface again and again and drown them again and again the same way that they did to Abhilash.

There is no way on earth these two will grow to be human beings.

And they did not love the girl that just had lust for her. It is unfortunate that these two were ever born.

I have a son of Abhilash's age and he puts his hands out defensively the same way Abhilash must have put his hands forward when he was mercilessly attacked by the two dogs as the photo of his dead body besides the pond indicates.

Show the photos of the two dogs so the world knows them and lynches them slowly to their death.

expected. the destination depends on the path. so we are approaching in such direction that we can see such incidents in future. In such a small age they are in to love, revenge, murder ... imagine. I always say media ( TV Channels and Movies ) have gifted us these. Everythign started shown publicly in media with out realising what could be the impact. all provoking songs, girls dancing in bikinis, dons shown as heros, heroes running away with friends fiancees, similar revenge and killing stories... everything attracted good crowd to theatres and TVs but nobody thought what could be the imapct on the society. So many movies came with such stories, frriends loving same girls, taking revenge, killing.. etc etc. There was complete sleetp by the sensor board. So we ended up here now. Unless we open our eyes and try to something to safeguard our youth and society we will be sure of get to see still worst society.

Murders, kidnaps and rapes are on the increase. Hope the hand of law comes down severely on the criminals and make them an example to others.

Oh my God....Love has so many twists, turns and consequences.
The proverb 'Meese baruvaga desha kanadhu' is time again proved right.
May parent of the deceased have patience bear the loss of their son.
Culprits should be punished and other should learn lesson from this reality.
