Bangalore, Nov 19: About 18,500 students appeared for Common Admission Test(CAT) in the City on Sunday for getting admission into top B-Schools, including the Six Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) in the country.

The examination went off peacefully without any malpractice reported from any of the 16 centres in Bangalore, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) sources told UNI.

IIMB handles 44 examination venues spread across three cities of Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune.

The question papers were reportedly easier as compared to previous years. The number of questions have been reduced to 75 this year from 90. Four set of question papers, packed in tamper proof sealed covers, were supplied to each test venue.
