Mysore, Nov 20: Former Union Minister V Srinivasa Prasad said that the former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should be given Nobel Prize for his 25-year-long association with former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda.
Speaking at a meet organised by dalits and progressive organisations at Town Hall on Sunday, he said that Kumaraswamy surprised every one by becoming chief minister at a time when Deve Gowda himself projected Siddaramaiah as chief minister candidate.
He said that the byelection to Chamundeshwari will be crucial to Siddaramaiah for his political future. He opined that H D Kumaraswamy becoming chief Minister and BJP men becoming ministers were surprises of 21st century.
