Puttur, Nov 21: ICYM organized "Yuva Janotsav - 06", a deanery-level youth meet at St John's High School premises at Kokkada near here on Sunday November 19. The theme of the programme was "Youth amidst Modern Problems" with related issue 'let's be aware and shape good personality."
The programme was inaugurated by Jaya Stella, a former member of ICYM. Fr Valerian Lewis, parish priest of St John the Baptist Church Kokkada presided over the programme.
Kokkada GP member Florine Pereira, parish council vice-president John Monteiro were the chief guests on the occasion.
Puttur deanery ICYM president Urban D'Souza welcomed the gathering while ICYM Puttur unit president Sunil Menezes proposed the vote of thanks. Ajay Alex Stella compered the programme.
More than 150 youth participated in the programme.
