Mangalore, Nov 21: The government of Karnataka, under the Indian Christian Marriage Act 1872, secton 7 (Central Law XV-1872), has appointed city advocate Ivan D'Souza as a Christian Marriage Registrar with immediate effect.
Ivan is currently holding the positions of vice president of DK district Congress committee, founder president of DK district Karmika Parishat of bus, auto and tempo unions, director of CAMPCO and president DK district Amateur Body-builders' Association.
He has been practising Law for the last 16 years. He has been a Notary Public also for the last 2 years.
Earlier, he had held the post of chairman, Karnataka Cashew Development Corporation and had been the senate and syndicate member of Mangalore university.
