Mangalore, Nov 22: The Karnataka State Licensed Electrical Contractors’ Association will celebrate its silver jubilee on Sunday November 26 at Town Hall here at 4.30 pm.
Addressing a press meet here on Wednesday November 22, association president P Shivakumar said that the association has been working for the poor and the needy and has provided free power supply to more then 50 homes.
The program will be inaugurated by district in-charge minister Nagaraj Shetty while district president P Shivakumar will preside over the function. Mangalore MLA Yogish Bhat, central committee president M Nataraj will be the chief guests.
MESCOM managing director S Sumanth will release a souvenir.
On the occasion, wheel chairs and artificial limbs will be provided to the physical challenged, he added.
Souvenir chairman Dilip Jain, editor Alvin Manohar, chief secretary James J Madtha, joint secretary Anil Stanley Vas, treasurer Yogish R Salyan, secretaries K Chandrahas and H Sundar Gowda and founder president K Vittal Shetty of Karnataka State Licensed Electrical Contractors’ Association, were also present in the press meet.
