Mangalore, Nov 23:
The cops of the anti-corruption branch of the Central Bureau of Investigation caught New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) deputy traffic manager (oil terminal) B R Sadashiva on charges of accepting bribe.

The officer was caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 here on Wednesday.

The CBI officers had laid a trap following the complaint by M/s Yojaka Marine Private Ltd that the officer had asked for a bribe for hassle free operations in the NMPT.

Sadashiva was arrested immediately and taken to Bangalore and will be produced before the Aditional city civil sessions and special judge for CBI.
