Mangalore, Nov 24: The three-day artificial limb camp organised by Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemical Ltd (MRPL) in collaboration with Sukda Surgicals and Jaipur Foot was inaugurated at Hindi Prachar Sabha at Lalbagh here on Thursday November 23.
Speaking after inaugurating the camp, Suratkal MLA J Krishna Palemar praised MRPL for showing concern towards the society and also lauded the developmental works undertaken by the company that have benefited the city in various ways.
A total of 73 people will get artificial limbs during the camp.
Among those present were MRPL-ONGC vice-president S S Hegde, MRPL deputy general manager Santosh Kumar Kadri, Sukda Surgicals and Jaipur Foot proprietor Rakesh Gandhi and orthopedic engineer Vivek Godkar.
