Mangalore, Nov 26: The Cultural Committee of Holy Cross Church, Cordel in association with Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) organized Yuva Sangama 2006 on Sunday.

The event was held in St Joseph School Hall Kulshekar and was inaugurated by  Praveen Tauro of Daijiworld.com Mangalore. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the youth must take initiative to enter the field of media. Catholic institutions and Catholic youth who take noble initiatives in life must be encourages, he added.

Lecturer Stephan Quadros spoke on ‘How to face problems in a competitive world’

ICYM Youth Director Fr Alex Noronha, president of ICYM Kulshekar Kiran, vice president Richard Alvares, Secretary Victor Vas and Norbert D’Souza were present on the occasion.

Following Eucharistic celebration the participants, around 250 in number, were given an insight into the 60 glorious years of ICYM.
