The Punjab high court on Friday convicted Navjot Singh Sidhu, BJP member of Parliament from Amritsar of murder.

Sidhu has been pronounced guilty of culpable homicide in a 1988 murder case under Indian Penal Code Section 304. The quantum of Sidhu's punishment will be decided on Wednesday.
