Islamabad Dec 5: The ban on Pakistani fast bowlers Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif was lifted on Tuesday afternoon.
A tribunal had banned Shoaib for two years and Asif for one year for testing positive for nandrolone.
The appeals were heard by a three-man panel, including retired judge Ibrahim, former Test player Hasib Ahsan and Dr Danish Zaheer.
Both men have insisted they did not knowingly take the banned drug.
