Mumbai, Dec 12: Mumbai will host the 2011 cricket World Cup final, a meeting of the joint hosts confirmed on Monday.
"Mumbai will host the final," Indian cricket board administrative officer Ratnakar Shetty told Reuters.
The International Cricket Council awarded the tournament to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in April.
The Indian board had previously announced that Delhi would stage the final.
Pakistan have been given 15 games with one semi-final and Sri Lanka nine matches including the other semi.
Bangladesh will host six games and the opening ceremony while India will stage the final and 22 group matches.
