Mangalore, Dec 21: Three-star Hotel Moti Mahal here will hold special events as part of Christmas and New Year celebrations.

This was announced at a press conference held in Hotel premises by Deepika Kapoor, chief administrative officer.

The first of the events, a mega cake exhibition will be held from Monday December 18 to Sunday December 31. The exhibition will be held in the hotel’s exclusive bakery and confectionaries outlet ‘Moti Sweet.’ An assorted range of cakes, pastries, cookies, fresh fruit cakes, special cakes prepared by expert chefs and many others are the highlight of the exhibition, the release stated.

The hotel will also host candle light dinner in Mangala and Tai Chien restaurants with live karaoke on Sunday December 24 and Monday December 25.

A grand New Year eve dinner (Dhoom-2007) will be held at the hotel’s poolside on Sunday December 31. The event will be for couples only and include a host of competitions, games and entertainment like balloon dance, elimination dance, Moti queen and king, baila dance and lucky draw. Winners will get special gift hamper.

Hotel Moti Mahal will also open its Coffee Shoppe on Friday December 22 and host a special New Year programme with DJ on Sunday December 31.

Ashok Kapoor, Jaya Prakash and Janardhan Rao were also present at the press conference.
