Reddy to reside in Bengaluru after release from jail

Bengaluru, Jan 22: Former minister Gali Janardhan Reddy who will be released from jail after his recent bail will reside in Bengaluru, as per sources.

Reddy is expected to be released either on Thursday or Friday.

The Supreme Court has in its order said that Reddy should not visit Bellary, his home town.

Till now his family lived in Bellary only despite a huge wealth owned by them.

Reddy is likely to stay at ‘Parijatha’ apartments near Chalukya circle in the city. He may even reside in a different location to have privacy. Acquisition of a new property is not ruled out.

Reddy was in jail for three and half years. It is said that Bengaluru is an ideal location for him as he will be travelling to different locations to fight court battles.

It is reported that Reddy’s well wishers are eagerly waiting for his arrival from jail.
