Fifth annual day celebration held at Vimukti Charitable Trust

Media release

Jan 23: 'To accomplish great things we must not only act but also dream; not only plan but also believe.'

The fifth annual day celebration on Vimukti book release and giving material help to physically challenged children was organized on January 11.

It was a significant day in the history pages of Vimukti Charitable Trust as it organized the 5th annual day where thousands witnessed, and especially the physically challenged children with their families received some material help on that day.

The director addressed the gathering and highlighted the plans and aspirations of the institute. Mr. Vishwanath Patil of Toranadinni member of Jilla Panchayat Raichur when he addressed the gathering said, “By helping the physically challenged children Vimukti has done a great task of building their lives towards a better future. We must see them as God loves children and these are the few ways, where we can involve ourselves in their lives.”

Mr. Hampayya Nayak from Manvi distributed tri- cycles to these children and appreciated the entire Vimukti team for involving in the social work. He also promised to give 15% of income to help such children through this institute.

Mr. Daniel Albert released the book on this occasion and inspired the people through his message saying, “From the past five years they have totally dedicated their might to serve through “Magu Nagu” Programme in Pothnal. The entire “Ensemble Agisson” team is happy to see the progress done by this institute.”

Fr Arun gave brief information about their plan.

The chief guest of the day Fr Alwyn Dias from Cap who received honour gave necessary information about how the “Magu Nagu Programme” took birth and how it gradually developed in the process of time. When he was in France he got help and support from many kinds of people who came forward to support him in all that they could do. Now it is growing just like a healthy tree bearing good fruits in its surroundings. He said, “What is essential to us is humanness. Only then we can think of helping other human beings. We lose the meaning of our lives when we fail to see the need in others. This institute has played an important role by giving some material help to the other wise challenged children.” He invited all to show such kinds of gestures in their endeavor.

There was a word of appreciation to each member of the institute for the hard work, dedication and love for their work from him.

Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.

This event was indeed a successful event. To entertain spectators many cultural items were performed on the stage. During the day many competitions were organized for the children of different schools and they were served meals at noon and transport facility to reach their village. For about 1000 children, parents and the well wishers took part in this well organized event.

Thanks to one and all who helped to make this event a memorable one.
