Mangaluru, Jan 30: MLC Ivan D'Souza has been nominated as a member of the Karnataka State Christian Development Committee, of which home minister K J George is the president.
The committee, formed in 2011-12 with president, vice-president, nominated members, and special invitees, was dissolved as per order dated June 14, 2013, after the new government took over charge.
On March 4 last year, the state government had re-organized the committee by choosing office-bearers afresh.
Through an order dated January 28, 2015, the government has nominated Ivan D'Souza as a member of the said committee.
