New Delhi, Feb 2 (IANS): It will be a cloudy Monday here with spells of very light rain likely in some areas, the Met Office said.
"There was shallow fog in the morning. The day ahead will be partly cloudy and one or two spells of very light rain or thundershowers could occur in some areas," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The visibility, which was 800 metres in the morning, affected the arrival of 20 trains to the city and forced the rescheduling of one, Northern railway said.
The day's minimum temperature settled two levels above the season's average at 10.4 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 22 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 78 percent.
Sunday's maximum temperature was 24 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average and the minimum temperature was 6.7 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
