Dubai, Jan 14: Kanara Entrepreneurs Ltd. (KEL) are pleased to announce their next session – ‘KEL in developing Entrepreneurship’ open to budding and established entrepreneurs from the Kanara region. This session is open to everyone who has dreams to be an entrepreneur and needs the initial support to progress this further. The session will also provide the progress of some of KEL’s initiatives and plans for promoting entrepreneurship and contributing to the economic development of the Kanara region.

Ivan Fernandes is the President of KEL and the past President of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) – Dubai Chapter – the largest network of entrepreneurs world-wide.
He is the Chairman and Managing Director of Regent Technologies Ltd., a BVI company with diverse interests in various technology infrastructure and IT related companies world-wide including Ducont, Track-IT and Tricolor Investments.
He has mentored several aspirants to set up their own organisations and some of these organisations are not only profitable but growing at a rapid rate of over 50% year on year.
Ivan will talk on KEL’s role in promoting entrepreneurship and its initiatives to drive the economic activity in the Kanara region.
Charles D`Souza in the Director – Marketing of KEL.
He is a postgraduate in management from XLRI, Jamshedpur (specialization in Human Resources) and graduated at St. Stephen's College, Delhi (specialization in Mathematics). Charles career spans over 19 years in Emirates Bank, KPMG, Oracle Corporation, Emirates Airlines and TATA's. Currently he is an internal Consultant with Emirates Bank Dubai, dedicated to human resources, information technology and business consulting practices.
Charles will present on 'What it takes to be an Entrepreneur’ during this session.
