Retreat begins at Saint Anthony’s in preparation for the feast

Mangaluru, Feb 12: Three days retreat began on Thursday, February 12 at Saint Anthony’s Jeppu in preparation for the feast,

The retreat was inaugurated at the Institutes at Jeppu at 9.30 am.

Fr Onil D'Souza speaking to the devotees after the inuaguration said that only through change of mind and devotion, one can get the blessing of God.





The 3 day retreat will continue till Saturday.The feast of Relic of Saint Anthony will be celebrated on February 15 at Milagres Church grounds at 6 pm.

Fr Anil Fernandes of Divine Retreat Centre Mulki celebrated Holy Mass and preached on how Jesus reaches out to those who pray to him in faith. ‘Jesus never fails anyone who pray to Him if they have faith in Him’, he said.

Later Fr Anil conducted the adoration to the Blessed Sacrament.

'Praise and worship' was led by Osmond Lobo, a young man from Urwa.
