Udupi: MCC Bank holds customer meet in Shirva

Udupi, Feb 19: Mangaluru Catholic Co-operative Bank Limited (MCC Bank) organized a customers' meet on Tuesday, February 17 at Shirva.

Speaking during the meet Fr. Stany Tauro, Priest, Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva said "MCC bank has attracted customers since its initiation in the year 1995 at Shirva. MCC bank has been rendering good services throughout the region. The bank staff should be keep in mind that ‘Either we progress or perish’ policy to meet the needs of customers. Customers are very important for for any institution. So, satisfying them is very necessary and satisfaction is Banks’ capital."










The customers were asked to share their views and experiences in the meet.

Hasanabba Sheikh, President Shirva Grama Panchayath praised MCC bank for its services in Shirva area.

Anitha D’souza addressed the introduction note. She said that bank and customers are the two faces of a coin and urged to promote the deposits.

William B. Machado, Secretary of parish pastoral council, Shirva who has been a regular customer since 31 years said "Bank should meet customers’ demand.Please always provide qualitative service in future and I request yo to have an air conditioned branch."

Balakrishna Kamath of Karthik Traders with his 15 years of financial relationship with the bank wished well for the administration.

Director of the bank Herald Fernandez said "Customers’ experience and feedback are important to development of the institution." He urged for the cooperation from the customers. He assured that NRI facilities will be introduced within a year including other new projects.

The chairman of the bank urged support from the customers in order to implemen advance technologies such as E-banking, ATM and other E facilities.

Nearly 150 customers participated in the customer meet.

Andrew D’souza welcomed the gathering,Anitha D’Souza proposed vote of thanks and Zeena Mathias compeered the programme.

Alwyn Patrao the vice Chairman and Raj Menezes the general manager of the bank were also present.
