Free WiFi to come in a year, says CM Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi, Feb 21 (Agencies) : Less than a week after assuming office, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday maintained that his party’s promises on water, power tariffs and free Wi Fi will reach Delhi residents “very soon”.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the annual Garden Tourism Festival in Saket, Kejriwal said, “Our team has rolled out a blue-print for electricity and water. I hope to give the good news on the reduced rates of power and water very soon. We are working on the lines of the governance model that we followed during our 49- day stint.”

Kejrwal said his government is also working on implementing the poll promise of free WiFi and said it will take at least a year.

“Even my children have been asking when free WiFi will be in place. We are working on it, but it will take some time. It will not take five years. It will be done within a year,” Kejriwal said.

“A few days back, you all voted for us and made us win by a huge majority… It’s a big burden, a big responsibility. We are working round-the-clock, focusing on work and talking less,” Kejriwal said.

Prior to the Delhi Assembly polls, the AAP had promised that electricity bills will be halved and households will get 700 litres of water free every day. The party had also promised to provide free WiFi across the city.

Kejriwal, every Indian politician do only promises in words only. Nothing in reality. Our country is running only in promises. We seriously need a law that punishes the minister if he doesn't keep his promise.

Giving promise is easy, implementation is difficult. Electorate have chosen 2 different form of governance, one for Delhi and other for India for next 5 years. They watch and give right judgement at the end of 5 years.

It is known fact and really needs time to fulfill. Even if AAP tries to give little in first time is much appreciated. Do not forget AAP has to fight in the pond for the public services which is filled with 1 to 50yrs old crocodiles.
Slow and study is always better than, quick and stop.
