Mangaluru, Feb 23: Sankupoonja-Devupoonja Kambala was organized at Vamanjoor on Sunday February 22. The Kambala witnessed a huge crowd and enthusiastic response from crowd.

The Kambala, as is customary, was held at the Kambala field of Tiruvailuguttu opposite Lord Amrutheshwara Temple in Tiruvailu, Vamanjoor here.

The Kambala, which was organized under the aegis of Sankupoonja-Devupoonja Jodikare Kambala Samiti, witnessed participation of 115 pairs of buffaloes. Being Sunday, people from from far off places also came to enjoy the thrill of Kambala.
