Udupi, Feb 27: The Karnataka state government has nominated Congress leader Amrith Shenoy as a member of the Mangaluru Academic Council.

He has rendered service as secretary of State Youth Congress, vice-president of Youth Congress, Udupi, Chikmagaluru Loksabha Constituency and was a member of other private institutions.
