A J Hospital bags 'patient friendly hospital' award

Mangaluru, Feb 28: AHPI – Association of health care providers (India) represents the vast majority of health care providers in India with thousands of members across the country.

It is an apex body regulating the quality standards of healthcare providers along with NABH – National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and healthcare providers.

AHPI has introduced awards to recognize the excellence achieved by the organizations in the health care industry in various fields, wherein the best performing health care providers are awarded annually.

We are proud to announce that A J Hospital and Research Centre is awarded 'Patient Friendly Hospital' in the second AHPI Global Conclave, by Shri E S L Narasimhan, governor of Andhra Pradhesh and Telangana. The award ceremony was held on February 23 at Marriott Hotel and Convention Centre, Hyderabad and the award was received by Dr Prashanth Marla, medical director, A J Hospital and Research Centre.
