Bantwal: Girl student from Karopady goes missing

Bantwal, Mar 6: Parents of Khalandar B B Sumaiya (17) from Karopady village near Vittal have filed a missing complaint in Vittal police station. They said that their daughter, a second year PU student of the government pre university college at Kanyana had left home for college on Thursday under the guise of collecting hall ticket. They said she did not return home.

Sumaiya is the daughter of Arasalike Ismail from Karopady village. Her parents in their complaint suspected that she would have been kidnapped. At the same time, they have not ruled out the possibility of the girl having gone somewhere on her own accord.

A case of suspected kidnap stands registered in Vittal police station.
