Manu Rishi turns director

Mumbai, March 8 (IANS): Actor Manu Rishi, known for his comic timing, has turned director on the occasion of International Women's Day on Sunday.

"I have been wanting to direct a film for a while now and the subject of my film is women oriented. So, we thought today being International Women's Day, it would be right to sign the film and make an announcement," Manu told IANS.

The "Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!" actor terms his film, which is set to go on floors by July 2015, as a 'Delhi-cious love story'.

A source close to the team shared: "Today on the occasion of International Women's Day March 8, 2015, producer Vikram Khakhar ('Main Aur Charles' and 'One by Two'), has signed actor-writer Manu Rishi to direct his next untitled venture on women empowerment."
