Mar 9,(DHNS): The Siddaramaiah government has drawn the list of 800 directors and members to be appointed to various boards and corporations.
Sources in the government said the appointment letters are likely to be issued on Tuesday. The Congress MLAs and those who were defeated in the last Assembly elections were asked to recommend a panel of three names of their choice for the posts. The selections have been made accordingly, the sources said.
The government has already appointed chairpersons to 82 boards and corporations. Siddaramaiah has decided not to give the Cabinet minister status to the chairmen, the sources said.
