Mangalore, Mar 1: Expressing their solidarity and support to the lawyer and his wife who were victims of an acid attack on Tuesday February 27 night, the advocates have decided to stage a protest by wearing red bands on their sleeves.

Sullia Advocates Association president M Venkappa Gowda and his wife suffered burn injuries when miscreants threw acid on them on Tuesday night.

In a press release, state Advocates Parishat president P P Hegde has said that the advocates will wear the red bands on their sleeves and urged the police to arrest the miscreants at the earliest.

The protest will be held on Thursday March 1.
