New Delhi, April 10 (IANS): Delhi Metro will have its first green power sub-station that will have solar power panels, wetland sewage treatment plant, water meters, LED bulbs, CO2 sensors and other eco-friendly features, a statement said on Friday.

Located at Sector 46 in Faridabad on the Badarpur-Faridabad metro corridor, the green sub-station will generate its own electricity to power its lighting and air-conditioning.
