Margao, Mar 15: Growing cases of Malaria are a cause for the biggest concern of the state health officials in the state. In order to check the rising incidence of these cases, Bangalore based health experts will now probe into them.

This experts' team will conduct a study as to how the Goans contract malaria. Health officials are said to be of the opinion that malaria spreads because of the migrant labourers working at construction sites. In this regard, this experts' team from Bangalore will study the matter and will present an assessment.

The experts would compile data on the prevalence of malaria and help control the disease, said deputy director of health Dr Dipak Kabadi, at a state-level advocacy workshop on public-private partnership for prevention and control of Malaria.
