Kolkata, Mar 21: A Bangkok-Delhi flight of Indian with 95 passengers on board made an emergency landing at the NSC Bose international airport in Kolkata on Wednesday after a Mexican passenger threatened to blow up the aircraft.

An Airports Authority of India spokesman said the plane, with 95 passengers on board, made an emergency landing at the airport at 3:20 pm.

The passenger on flight IC-854 was allegedly in an inebriated condition and had misbehaved with co-passengers. He threatened to blow up the plane before he was overpowered, the spokesman said.
