Bantwal, Mar 25: The Bantwal police have two persons with regard to murder attempt on a young man at Shanthigudde near here on Saturday March 24.
The arrested have been identified as Yasin and Rafiq. Both of them were produced in the court on Saturday March 24. The court remanded them to judicial custody.
As reported earlier in these columns Rohit, a resident of Nandarabettu was assaulted by group of five men on Thursday March 22 morning when he was in his canteen at Shanthigudde.
Police sources said that personal rivalry is the reason behind the murder attempt. Efforts are still on to nab the other persons involved in the assault.
